FX Unleashed is an independent community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by Simagic. Simagic and FX Pro are trademarks of their owner, used only to say which hardware this works with. The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Use it at your own risk.

Firmware warning

Installing modified firmware on your wheel is at your own risk.

  • It isn't made, tested or supported by Simagic, and it may void your warranty.
  • A bug, an interrupted install or a difference in your hardware could stop the wheel from working correctly. In rare cases you might not be able to recover it yourself.
  • We check every build (every change emulated against the stock firmware, then tested on a real wheel), but we can't test every wheel, base, revision and setup.
  • It only changes the wheel's own app (lights, screen, buttons, USB). It doesn't change your base or force feedback. You can go back to Simagic's stock firmware with SimPro at any time: reinstall wheel app 1.3.11 from SimPro's firmware page with the original file in place (see "Back to stock" in the setup guide).
  • Don't unplug or power off the wheel while it installs.

To the extent the law allows, the authors aren't liable for damage to your hardware or any other loss.

Library terms

Dashes and screensavers in the library are made by the community, not by us or Simagic. We check them for size, format and no scripts, but install them at your own risk. Submitting means you made it (or have permission) and license it under the terms shown.

Licences

  • The plugin and the tools: GPL-3.0. It comes with no warranty and no liability (GPL-3.0 sections 15 and 16).
  • Library items: each has its own licence, shown on its page (the ones by FX Unleashed are CC-BY-4.0).
  • Car rev light data: Lovely Car Data by Lovely Sim Racing and contributors, CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, downloaded by the plugin at runtime.
  • Built-in Mustang dash: after the SimHub dash "LMGT3 Ford Mustang GT3" by Redadeg (lmu-dashboards.com), used with the author's permission.
  • This website: built with Astro and three.js (MIT). Fonts: Chakra Petch, Inter, JetBrains Mono (SIL Open Font License), from Google Fonts.
  • Trademarks: Simagic and FX Pro are trademarks of their owner, used only to say which hardware this works with. The FX Unleashed logo and the wheel drawings are our own.

Privacy

This site doesn't track you: no analytics, no cookies, no accounts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the library and changelog from GitHub, so those services see your IP address like any website you visit.

The library and "Install" buttons talk to the plugin on your own PC (127.0.0.1): nothing about your PC is sent anywhere. The plugin checks GitHub for updates and the library index, and downloads car light data (Lovely Car Data); it sends nothing about you.

Rights holders

If something here uses your work without permission, open an issue on GitHub or contact the maintainers there. Library items are taken down while it's looked at.
